New TV series Prince Mackaroo revolves around the mishaps and adventures of a five-year old Prince Mackaroo who chanced upon a power scepter owned by the Great Demon King. With the scepter's ability to time-warp to anytime in the past or the future, the young prince travels a thousand years later, into the present world, and meets seven-year old Cozmo who became his bestfriend. Along with Prince Mackaroo who traveled  to the present age are the three mischievous scamps: Scarlett, Khakie, and Blue-Joe, who were also responsible for the loss of their master's scepter. Left in Fairyland are Prince Mackaroo's parents, who are of noble descent and wanted their son to become an 'intellectual aristocrat', and his pre-arranged five-year old fiancé, Princess Camelia, who loves to send him love letters.

Prince Mackaroo, who is also an avid collector of 'things' which he puts inside his four-dimensional cap, is about to experience an entirely different world along with his new friends and 10th century rivals. Since the show premiered in Japan, Prince Mackaroo has also managed to jump into a number of merchandise, including comics, books, utensils, swimming accessories, gifts, stationery products, hanging accessories, food products and calendars.
