Postman Pat is a popular stop motion animated television series of British Broadcasting Corporation, firmly established in many international territories as a child-relevant, contemporary and pre-school brand. This modern classic was originally released in 1981 and has already been sold to over 65 countries worldwide.

Postman Pat follows the adventures of Pat Clifton, a friendly country postman and his 'black ad white' cat Jess, as he delivers the mail through the fictional Yorkshire Village of Greendale. Although he initially concentrates on delivering his letters, he nearly always becomes distracted by one issue of one of the villagers and is usually relied upon to resolve their problems.

Postman Pat's remarkable success in the UK, USA and in major Europe economies was exemplified by the continuous licensing activities and merchandising ventures of the brand with a powerful market acceptance and recognition.
