Martin Mystery started out as a figure created by Alfredo Castelli in 1982. Now seen on Disney Channel as a cartoon series from Marathon (the same creators of Totally Spies), “Martin Mystery” tells the story of a high school student of the same name who is deeply fascinated with anything and everything paranormal. Including things that are eerie and slimy. After solving a paranormal mystery, he is recruited by a secret organization called ‘The Center’ which specializes in the very thing that Martin Mystery finds interest in. Together with his team comprised of his stepsister, Diana Lombard, an 800,000 year old cave man named Java, and a cute space-alien-secretary named Billy, Martin Mystery goes about solving cases of the paranormal and fighting off evil, ‘bad-guy’ monsters and aliens that threaten life on earth.
