Battle B-Daman is one of the latest TV animes to hit Tokyo screens. Created by Inuki Eiji, Battle B-Daman was first aired in Japan in January 2004 while it premiered in the United States in April 2005. This TV series follows the feats and adventures of a young boy Yamato Delgado whose only dream was to play B-Daman, the official sport of the B-DaWorld. B-DaWorld, a place where spherical objects have special powers, is also where Yamato lives. He was especially raised by cats until he was five years old. When his dream finally comes true, he was bestowed with the most powerful B-Daman, the legendary Cobalt Blade. Fortunately, only he has the skill  to harness its power.

The other characters also highlighted in Battle B-Daman are Yamato's friend Gray Michael Vincent, Bull Borgnine with three personalities, Yamato's classmate Tsubame Tsubakura and Yamato's giant cat mentor Armada. The series basically revolves around Yamato's journey into the world of B-Daman where he learns valuable lessons along with his family and friends. Who knows, he might just be the one to save B-DaWorld from the clutches of the Shadow Alliance.
